War Blob Opens for TRASHWORLD at the Newton

Spectators, punks and photographers waited anxiously for War Blob to begin their set. The band plugged their equipment in while looking around to assure they were ready to perform. The crowd looked at War Blob with increasing interest. Stephen Sean Powell, the lead singer of War Blob, grabbed the microphone and the show began. Powell began performing with such energy the crowd seemed to absorb it. Listeners danced as the music vibrated through the small warehouse.

My personal favorite song that I will keep checking Spotify for is the song where the hook is "My dad's an alcoholic".

The music War Blob makes is hardcore in terms of style, but is light when it comes to the lyrics. The group produces music that is best described as chaotic fun. I look forward to checking out their next show and seeing their growth as a band.
