Teens in South Bay are reclaiming the streets!

Groups of young e-bikers are riding around beach cities enjoying the wind in their face and the hum of electric motors.

What a time to be alive.

Opponents and citizens alike cite concerns for safety. Suggesting that some of these e-bikes to fall under electric motorcycles due to their high speed. Hermosa Beach School Board has implemented a mandatory bike safety course for its student commuters. Whether or not this program will translate on the road is yet to be determined.

The line is blurred between safety and letting kids be kids.
